MEET ADAM

Adam Bremner-Akins is a university student, environmentalist, server, former Secretary of the BC Green Party and proud lifelong British Columbian. A member of the BC Greens for the past eight years, he’s committed to building a more affordable, sustainable, and equitable province.

Raised in Port Coquitlam, Adam comes from a family with deep ties to Vancouver Island and the North. He has lived across Metro Vancouver and worked in local businesses while studying Political Science at Simon Fraser University. He divides his time between the BC Greens, working at a restaurant, and tending his garden on the family farm.

Adam’s political roots began when he joined his parents on the teachers’ picket line in 2014 and grew through organizing his community’s first climate strikes. He’s volunteered across BC, run as a Green candidate in 2020 & 2024, and served four years on the Provincial Council as an At-Large-Member and the Secretary.
