The BC Greens are known for doing things differently — and I’m no exception!

Over my eight years as a dedicated party member and four years on our Provincial Council, I’ve been pushing bold solutions!

“Everyday the affordability crisis keeps getting worse for each and every hard working British Columbian, yet Fossil Fuel companies and the rich are rolling in profits. Me and his family have dedicated decades to public education/service and feel the economic hardship many of you are feeling. That's why lowering the Cost of Living is one of my top priority!”

  • Expand land available for food production by supporting the creation of a publicly owned agricultural land bank, accessible for farmers to lease.

  • Support incentives for regenerative farming practices that build healthier soils, improve water management, reduce energy use, and sequester carbon.

  • Invest in local food systems, farmers’ markets, and the infrastructure that supports them.

  • Invest in affordable housing construction and implement upzoning initiatives to end exclusionary zoning for non-market housing.

  • Maintain and retrofit existing housing stock to promote sustainability and better living conditions.

  • Work with and invest in municipalities to meet their specific needs.

  • Advocate for federal legislation to ban the sale of residential units to Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

  • Implement province-wide vacancy control to hold landlords accountable when rents are drastically increased.

  • Hold the NDP government accountable for missed opportunities and broken promises on affordability.

  • Increase disability and social assistance rates — starting with the removal of punitive clawbacks like the spousal cap.

“British Columbian backyard views are known worldwide for their majestic landscapes, from mountain peaks to old growth forests, scenic coastlines to the frozen beauty. Unfortunately, corporate greed and political inaction have landed us in a climate crisis. Seasonal flooding, Forest Fires and unpredictable weather has become a staple of provincial life, but it's not too late! I have been advocating for Climate action since my first day with the Greens nearly a decade ago.”

Protect what makes our Province Beautiful!

  • Work to implement realistic, science-based climate goals to build truly sustainable and resilient communities.

  • Introduce a windfall tax on oil and gas companies and reinvest those funds in renewable energy sectors.

  • Transition fossil fuel subsidies into clean, sustainable alternatives.

  • Hold the NDP government accountable for flip-flopping on environmental protections.

  • Consult with traditional caretakers and local residents to better understand the challenges posed by climate disasters.

  • Establish comprehensive and accessible support programs for workers and families impacted by the transition to renewables and victims of environmental disasters..

  • Protect more of BC’s lands and waters, in partnership with First Nations.

  • Prioritize the protection of species at risk and biodiversity across the province.

  • Fully implement all 14 recommendations of the Old Growth Strategic Review, in collaboration with First Nations.

  • Dedicate funding for wildfire prevention, firefighter recruitment, and climate response corps to reduce disaster risks.

“From Prince Rupert to Kelowna, the Rockies to Victoria we are one community, we are British Columbian! Each and every one of our neighbours deserves the opportunity to traverse our beautiful province. I have had the privilege to visit many BC communities in my tenure with the Greens and I want the same for you. That’s why I am prioritizing transit throughout the province”

  • Reallocate funds to strengthen public transit infrastructure and address operational needs across the province.

  • Implement free public transit for all people in British Columbia, making local and regional travel more accessible and timely.

  • Invest in alternatives to personal vehicles, such as walking, cycling, and transit — instead of costly highway expansions.

  • Collaborate with Destination BC to promote cycling tourism through targeted marketing and outreach.

  • Support the creation of a Vancouver-Whistler train corridor.

  • Update transit infrastructure to promote mobility for marginalized communities such as those with disabilities, those living in remote locations and first nations communities.

“British Columbians across the province are struggling to access adequate health services — particularly at regional hospitals. The overdose crisis has gripped nearly every family in the province creating lasting effects. We need to protect our elders, our kids and our communities. I have heard from people like you throughout the province about Healthcare backlogs, drug related loss and local issues, that's why I will…”

  • Review and expand loan forgiveness and paid practicums for all healthcare students to improve staffing and training.

  • Fund our public healthcare system — not private agency nurses — to ensure sustainable, long-term care.
Make mental health a priority by adding a dedicated 911 mental health crisis response option.

  • Keep BC on track to deliver $10-a-day childcare for all families.

  • Launch a universal healthy school food program to ensure every child is fed, regardless of family income.
