THE BC GREENS ARE KNOWN FOR DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY — AND I’M NO EXCEPTION!

Over my eight years as a dedicated party member and four years on our Provincial Council, I’ve been pushing bold solutions!

“Everyday the cost of living crisis keeps getting worse for every hard working British Columbian, but yet fossil fuel companies and the rich are rolling in profits. My family and I have dedicated decades to public education & service and feel the economic hardship many of you are feeling. That's why lowering the cost of living is one of my top priorities!”

  • Implement a 4 day work week across the province.

  • Support incentives for regenerative farming practices that build healthier soils, improve water management, reduce energy use, and sequester carbon.

  • Invest in local food systems, farmers’ markets, and the infrastructure that supports them.

  • Invest in affordable housing construction and implement upzoning initiatives to end exclusionary zoning for non-market housing.

  • Push for a Right to Disconnect law across the province.

“Our Province’s natural environment is known worldwide for its majestic landscapes, mountain ranges, old growth forests, scenic coastlines, and its frozen beauty. Unfortunately, corporate greed and political inaction have landed us in a climate crisis. Seasonal flooding, forest fires, and unpredictable weather has become a staple of our lives now, but it's not too late! I have been advocating for climate action since I first sat alone outside my high school holding a Friday’s for Future sign”

PROTECT WHAT MAKES OUR PROVINCE BEAUTIFUL!

  • Work to implement realistic, science-based climate goals to build truly sustainable and resilient communities.

  • Introduce a windfall tax on oil and gas companies and reinvest those funds in renewable energy sectors.

  • Immediately end fossil fuel subsidies and invest into clean, sustainable alternatives.

  • Hold the NDP government accountable for flip-flopping on environmental protections.

  • Consult with traditional caretakers and local residents to better understand the challenges posed by climate disasters.

  • Establish comprehensive and accessible support programs for workers and families impacted by the transition to renewables and victims of environmental disasters..

  • Protect more of BC’s lands and waters, in partnership with First Nations.

  • Implement a provincial species at risk program and a biodiversity loss prevention program across the province.

  • Fully implement all 14 recommendations of the Old Growth Strategic Review, in collaboration with First Nations.

  • Dedicate funding for forest management, firefighter recruitment, and climate response corps to reduce disaster risks.

“From Prince Rupert to Kelowna, the Rockies to Victoria, we are one community, we are British Columbian! Each and every one of our neighbours deserves the opportunity to traverse our beautiful province. I have had the privilege to visit many BC communities in my time with the BC Greens and I want the same for everyone, car or not. That’s why I am prioritizing intercity transit throughout the province”

  • Support the creation of a Vancouver-Whistler, Vancouver-Kelowna, and Victoria-North Island train corridor.

  • Bring our rail & ferry infrastructure back under provincial control.

  • Update transit infrastructure to promote mobility for marginalized communities such as those with disabilities, those living in remote locations and first nations communities.

“British Columbians across the province are struggling to access adequate health services — with many rural hospitals closing regularly due to staff shortages. The overdose crisis has impacted all of us, whether it’s a family member, co-worker, friend, or a friend of a friend. We need to protect our elders, labours, kids, and our communities. I have heard from people throughout the province about our healthcare backlogs, drug related loss, and local issues, that's why I will…”
